    Founding Director

In her own words: To start I feel it’s important to share a little about myself. I am a mum of children with and without disability. Through this lived experience of disability over the last 16 years has come many gifts; meeting people, exploring new places, finding purpose and living with passion. I understand that being able to trust that you or your loved one will be safe and happy when they’re away from your home, either staying in my home or travelling with me, is the most important consideration when thinking about Short Term Accommodation (STA). I feel humbled and honoured to take this step with you and your person. The formal stuff, so you feel reassured about my qualifications and experience — I’m the founder of Just Like Home. In addition to offering STA for NDIS participants I also work as a Support Coordinator. My background and qualifications include: Education: Masters of Applied Project Management (2019)Bachelor Social Welfare (2015)Optimal Individual Services Design Training (2014) with Dr Michael Kendrick - FaCS. Qualified AUSTSWIM instructor. Certificates in Business Management and Communication. Current First Aid and Mental Health First Aid certificates. I am well-established and connected in my local area and beyond! When you work with me you know I will confidently make referrals to ensure your choice and control are at the front of every step of your journey.  I feel fortunate to walk alongside those on their mental health recovery journey and those seeking Support Co-ordination to facilitate achieving their NDIS goals. • Cassidy - 0491 05 60 44

    Recovery Coach

My passion in life is in the freedom of dreams; the freedom of my own and the freedom of other. If I am able to assist someone and achieving their dreams/goals in this life then I feel my purpose to be complete.

I grew up with my own lived mental health experiences that are still present to this day. I took my health into my own hands at a young age and began my healing and self development journey. To assist my mental health, I received a dual diploma in Holistic Counselling and Complimentary Therapies. I now combine my knowledge in therapy with less formal modalities like reiki, prayer, ritual and other metaphysical and energy practises that i have added to my arsenal over the last decade.

The most important skill i have learnt along my way is the importance of listening. I aim to be an open heart that unconditionally offers a safe space for growth to take place.

  • Brenda

    Relationship Coach

In her own words: As a registered counsellor I believe counselling is an invaluable journey to healing and providing assistance to those seeking a new direction.

Life can be challenging for us all and sometimes we just need support in a non-judgmental manner and by a good listener to help us find positive pathways and strategies.

When clients and counsellors collaborate, it's the rapport connecting us that establishes the trusting relationship, and being able to address, explore and clarify the subject clients bring to therapy.

My technique explores feelings, thoughts, behaviours and how they can help achieve a more fulfilled life.

As a counsellor I encourage you to be you, feel at ease and know that your are being heard.
