Just Like Home started with an offering of supported short term accommodation, and its still the backbone of what we do.
We carefully source and curate locations we are sure will suit our clients needs to offer a wide array of experiences which are safe, supported and tailored to your needs.
We have locations across New South Wales and Queensland, from farm stays in the hinterland, beach-side apartments and completely self-contained and accessible units.

Our locations
There are two accommodation spaces for you to choose from.
Lumeah is the self-contained accommodation section of our family home. Or choose to stay in our Queen-size guest bedroom in the main house.
Either choice gives you full access to enjoy our 2.5 acre property. You can listen to kookaburras laughing in the rainforest, or pick veggies for home-made pizza cooked in the outdoor oven.
You’ll want to stay here for a real in-home family experience close to Lismore.
Throsby Creek Newcastle
A very special home in the Hunter region where you can be your most authentic self.
Throsby Creek home is open to anyone who is queer and disabled, including gender diverse folks, and others.
Providing a unique safe and secure environment for you to explore and express your identity in a warm and welcoming environment.
You’ll also enjoy the locale, close to cafes, walks and cycling paths in a quiet suburb.
A stunning beach-side apartment awaits you, with easy access to local sun-soaked waterways.
Our Broadwater property on the Gold Coast in sunny south east Queensland is well appointed with modern features and accessible via local public transport if needed.

A breath of fresh country air is just what you need, and you’ll find it at Crooked Fence Farm.
Enjoy meandering walks through the farm, delight in spotting kangaroos, wallabies and and abundance of bird life as you relax in the surrounds of the shaded homestead.
