The best thing I can share about myself is that I am a mum of children with and without disability. I understand that being able to trust that your children will be safe and happy is the most important consideration when they’re away from your home. I have grown through my family experience of disability during the last 15 years, and I feel humbled and honoured to take this step with you and your young person.

A little about me, so you can feel reassured about my qualifications and experience — I’m the founder of Just Like Home. I currently work both as a NDIS Support Coordinator, and as an Access and Inclusion Practitioner.

My background and qualifications include:

  • Recipient of numerous awards including the “Highly Commended” NSW Carer of the Year award in 2014.

  • Delegate at the NDIS New World Conference in 2015 and the inaugural NDIS Congress in 2011.

  • Received an Australia Day award for Individual Services to the Community in 2014.

  • More than 15 years experience working in the disability sector as a Support Coordinator, Facilitator, Business Manager, and Project Manager supporting people with disability across various sectors, including housing and employment.

  • Masters of Project Management (2019).

  • Bachelor of Social Welfare (2015).

  • Optimal Individual Services Design Training (2014) with Dr Michael Kendrick - FaCS.

  • Qualified AUSTSWIM instructor.

  • Certificates in Business Management and Communication.

  • Current First Aid and Mental Health First Aid certificates.

I’m a keen sportswoman, and I stay fit through swimming, pilates and regular personal training.
